Features of KAS Mains Test Series

1. Mains answer writing is a skill set and requires persistent effort and talent to master the art of answer writing.
2. ASTRA’s 3-phased approach will help the students to incrementally build their answer writing skills from basics to advanced level and in the process evolve accordingly.

Course details

1. Language: Tests will be conducted in both Kannada and English language mediums. The students will have the option of opting for either of the languages and also get feedback in their respective languages.
2. Model answer synopsis: A soft copy of model test answer sheets will be provided to the students in both English and Kannada medium after every test. These answers synopsis are well structured with the standard framework and detailed content is provided to the students for holistic learning. Latest news updates and current related issues will be integrated with the test series and are included in the answers synopsis.
3. Test discussions: Every test is followed by a comprehensive and detailed question paper discussion. The objective is to provide multiple approaches and dimensions into answer writing covering all the possible parameters that could be incorporated in an answer. Demand-specific frameworks, ideal approaches addressing the demand, apt structure, and necessary presentation styles will be given for the student to choose from the best possible option. Sufficient justification will also be made to recommend as to which framework and content would bring more marks to the student and how they can maximize their scoring. Advanced Mind maps/ flowcharts for an effective model answer will also be provided.

The focus will be given on understanding the question’s demand, identifying keywords, identifying sub-parts of the question, providing necessary weightage to each sub-part, conceptual clarity, answer organization/framework, structure, presentation, organization of points, and various other parameters.
6. Time Flexibility: There will be flexibility in taking tests if the students are missing the test dates and the students can later submit the written answers (both offline and online)in case of any contingencies.
